Our church is an independent, Bible-believing local church that the Lord has raised up right here in the heart of South End Halifax. We are a community of believers who love our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and want you to know and love Him as well. We believe that the Bible is the pure Word of God, and the teaching and preaching that you will hear at Missionary Bible Church is centered on those timeless truths. Pastor Luke Higgs faithfully preaches God's Word from the pulpit each week. At Missionary Bible Church, you will find:
A Church Home for You: God's Word challenges believers to "consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). As Christians, we need each other, and we need to sit under the ministry of faithful Bible preaching regularly. Our Sunday services are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6 p.m. We also meet for a time of prayer and Bible preaching at our midweek service on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. If you are just visiting in the Halifax area, or if you are looking for a church home, plan to visit us this week! |
